Question:
How should I be eating now
I am 16 months out and have lost 140 pounds. I am wondering how I should be eating now?? What should be my caloric intake be and how many grams of protein should I be eating?? What should I watch out for? — HotMamaDBA (posted on January 8, 2003)

Do you still have weight to lose or are you on maintenance? I suppose that
would make a difference. I know how I eat at 20 months out on maintenance
but I'll bet I would be a lot more strict with my carb/fat intake if I
still had weight to lose. I have listed on my profile what I ate at 4, 9,
and 18 months out. I have never really watched fat, only reduced carbs and
upped protein. My caloric intake for 4 months was about 800, for 9 months
was about 1000-1200, and currently is about 1500-1800. I shoot for 100
grams of protein a day. Sometimes I make it, sometimes not. I would say to
watch out for carb creep. I eat only protein for breakfast and I seem to
eat less carbs and less in general. I feel less hunger. Hope this helps.
