Hi! - I had this problem at about 2 1/2 - 3 months post op. How long ago
did you have your surgery. It started the way it is happening for you. It
got worse then it got to the point where I was unable to keeping anything
down. I was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks straight because I was so
dehydrated. They took tests and the only thing that they found was some
mucus reflux (same thing as acid reflux but with mucus). The doctors said
that everyone has mucus in their stomach but since ours are new that it
might take a while for the stomach to reprogram to push the mucus the other
way. My surgeon recommended Dimatapp. I took it for about 2 months and it
worked wonders. I am just short of 1 year post op. I would call my
surgeon and ask them about this. If it gets as bad as I had it definitely
call them since you do not want to get dehydrated. I hope this helps.
Email me if you have any questions. Tracy

Yes,I had that problem at first also. I'm now almost 3 months post op. It
was from being dehydrated. Mine was also kinda foamy. I kept lots of paper
towels handy to spit in. Make sure you are drinking all you water. Even
now if let up on the water my mouth will start back to watering. Take care!
