Question:
How much of a protein drink do you drink at one time
I have used protein drinks numerous times over the past 2 years and usually an envelope (met rx) makes a blender full of liquid. sometimes frothy, sometimes not (depends on the flavor). I would drink the blender full for breakfast. How much liquid do you take in at one time drinking a protein drink post op? Can you still make the flavors that tend to get frothy? — susanje (posted on December 18, 2002)

I'm 4 1/2 months post op and it takes me about an hour to drink 8 ounces.
It varies for everyone. I have to drink protein shakes that are consistent
with water or I can't choke them down.

How much water did you use to make the bender full? I would think that
that liquid amount would count as what you take in. And I wouldn't think
that flavors make any difference.

Yuckers!
I mix Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Stack Chocolate in 4-6 oz of water.
Shake and drink. Yummers! Tastes like a fudgesicle. I get it at
vitalady.com.
Takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, a couple more to drink, I'm gone. If
I've pre-measured the powder into empty water bottles, all I do is add
water, shake on the go, and drink in the car in the morning. Keep measured
powder in dry bottles in car for shakes on the go all the time.

I use several. ProScore 100 in about 7 oz of water, a little ice. Gives
me, what? 8-10 oz? Of pure bliss, BTW. As RWH says, that is exactly what
I do with my Stack when on the run. Just gimme the chocolate & nobody
gets hurt.
