What is a restaurant card?

Some surgeons hand out ID cards for you to show restaurants requesting you be able to order off senior or childrens menu because you had bypass surgery and unable to eat large amounts of food. I use mine sometimes but usually I order normal portions so I have leftovers to take home for meals so I don't have to cook. :)
