Question:
At my goal weight.....now what?
I've reached my goal weight but I can't seem to turn off my "lose weight" obsession. I keep lowering my goal. I'm still in the healthy range, but how do I turn off the mental obsession and be satisfied? — Caddy W. (posted on October 18, 2002)

you may want to seek counseling to help you with this. And do it soon. This
can be a very unhealthy obsession, and sometimes deadly if you do not get a
grip on it. Goold Luck to you, and congrats for losing all of your weight!!

Congratulations on getting to your goal! I agree with the last poster, you
need to get some help for it. I find myself forming unhealthy habits too.
Good Luck and be sure to see someone right away.

I can sympathize with you. I'm not at goal, but getting closer and I'm
waiting on TT and mastopexy approval, and I think to myself, "okay,
when I get all of these thing, will I be happy with my appearance, or will
I then start picking on my thighs? When will I be happy with the package
I've got?" I've even looked at how little I could weigh and still be
considered in the healthy range, because I might get to my goal weight and
decide that isn't enough. I'm doing my aftercare program and I hope that
is going to help. If not, I'll get counceling. Good luck, and you are not
alone.
