Question:
Does anyone have list of blood tests for post op patients?

I am seeing my PCP on Wed and wanted him to do my blood work. I am 4 months out. Not sure what tests to ask for. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.    — sandy W. (posted on October 15, 2002)

I,m 5 month's post-op and my Dr. has me getting blood work the 1st. yr. 4 time's. Then once a yr. after that. The test are CBC,Triglycerides,TIBC,Comp.Metabolic Panel,Magnesium, Folate, Cholesterlo, Iron, Vitamin B12. I hope this help's you.

Your surgeon should be sending to your PCP what he wants tested. And, your surgeon should review the results along with your PCP.
