Question:
I am 9 weeks post op. I get full very quickly from eating. I am eating about 650
calories a day. Is that enough for me to eat? I don't want to deprive myself or go into the starvation mode. I try to get my protein in (most days) and drink plenty of water and exercise. I am on a plateau now. Do I eat enough? Should I eat more? Any advice is greatly appreciated. — Judy W. (posted on September 17, 2002)

Getting full quickly is the whole idea of this surgery!! Plateaus are
normal ( depressing, but normal). Keep working on that protein. This
plateau to shall pass...just like all of the rest of ours have!! If you are
eating 3 meals a day, and 1-2 healthy snacks, and getting all of your
protein in then you are eating enough. 650 at 9 weeks is about normal.
