Question:
Question on binders.
Does anyone know if they use binders at Bariatric Treatment center. I want one. I had a C-section and was afraid my guts would fall out. My son is 13 and I would probably still have the staples if left up to me. LOL — obsessivekompulsive (posted on August 31, 2002)

Check with any home health agency and they will be able to help you. If you
have surgery they should give you one.If not request one while you are
there.Hope this helps.

I had my surgery over two years ago and BTC in Belvidere, IL. At that
time, they supplied binders to the patients. I am sure they still do. You
can call the BTC you plan to have your surgery at and ask them :o)

I had surgery at BTC in Belvidere, IL. They definately use binders there.
You wake up from surgery with the binder on and they want you to wear it
for 6 weeks following.

I had my surgery at the BTC in Ohio on 7/31. I woke up with the binder and
at 4 weeks post-op am still wearing it.

I had my surgery Aug. 19 at BTC in Grand Haven, Michigan and I too, have a
binder and must wear it for a few weeks. I never had one with any of my 3
c-sections but I like it. I feel more secure. Good Luck Carol
