Question:
How to fight BCSB PPO Exclusions?

I have BCBS PPO and my benefits do not cover any kind of weightloss programs or surgeries no matter if it is medically neccessary. I know there are ways around this. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do? Is there a way to the surgery for some other reason than weight loss like if you have sever GERD? I have BCBS Anthem Option 2000 PPO and they approved my surgery in a matter of days. But I think mine had the "morbid obesity and medical necessarity". My surgeons office filed everything.
