Question:
Has anyone had a rny at Bayview, Johns Hopkins.

I had my surgery back in April with Dr Magnuson. For the most part the staff was attentive and polite. With the exception of the weekend where the staff was a bit sparse, but overall it was fine and everyone seems to want to do things right when they know you're one of Dr M's patients. I guess he on top of them if they are not. Best of luck :)

I had Open RNY w/ Dr. Magnuson 10/26/2001. I am very pleased with the care, concern, follow up care and individual attention I recieve from Dr. M and the staff. Being nervous is gonna happen before any surgery-especally one that you've elected to have. Just try to do as much research as possible. Write down any questions you have, taken them with you and he'll be sure to answer each and everyone. That helped me. Congrats on your decision. Best of luck.. S.K. (8 mo's post op down 113 lbs.)
