Could you tighten down the specs a little? You mean, what's WRONG with us
long term or stuff like I'd rather wear a size 3 than a size 30? Not sure
what you really mean.

I agree with Michelle. Not quite sure what you are asking, but I will
answer with what I think you are asking. My mother had WLS similar to the
RNY in 1976. In the 25+ years she has experienced problems with dumping,
(only because at that time, nutritional information was not provided to
her) problems with gas, (which after 20+ years has discovered that
metimucil (sp) does wonders) A serious bout with anemia, (finally corrected
with Iron injections) And never being in the morbidly obese catagory again.
She lost from 235 to 120 in 9 mos. and is now appox 150. She does diet
and watch what she eats. There are still some foods that she avoids
because of the discomfort that it causes. She has had her calcium
checked...i guess thats the bone scan thing...its fine. But she does take
a vitamin. Hope this answers your question.
