Question:
I don't want to have a tummy tuck, but I'm losing everywhere but my stomach.
I am 7 months post op today and am down 80+ lbs. from 286. I could be in a size 14 pants if it weren't for my stomach. And I'm walking 2-3 miles faithfully daily. Am I destined to have to have a tummy tuck? I really don't want to. It seems I'm losing everywhere but in my belly. Is it going to get better? Anyone make it to goal w/o having a t.t.? Anyone ever think they'd never lose their belly BUT DID? I need some feedback. Thanks alot. — Annie H. (posted on June 2, 2002)

You're stomach is the last to go. I started at 249 and I'm 158 right now
and I started noticing the lost in my stomach around 180. My legs, arms,
and boobs were the 1st to go but now it's my stomach. I have also been
working my ab muscles so that helps too. I am also hoping not to need a
tummy tuck and I don't think I will. Best of luck.
