I am pre-op but I asked my hairdresser this weekend about hair loss. He
advised me to get Rogaine for Women. Spray it twice a day in clean washed
hair. He also said the WalMart brand Equate is just as good. Good luck.

I started losing har about 2.5 months post-op. I started taking GNC Hair
and Nails vitamin (has Biotin as well as some other vitamins) and my
hairloss as slowed significantly. There is still more in the shower than
there used to be, but if I run my fingers through it I don't have a
handfull of hair now!! Good Luck! :)

In my opinion there is nothing that can be done about the hair loss. I did
everything right in getting in my protien, vitamins..and even spent a lot
of money on the NIOXIN hair products. Nothing I did made any difference. I
lot it from the 4th month thru the 7th month and then it just stopped and
is slowly growing back. I easily lost 1/3 of it and since I have thin, fine
hair it really showed. But it is slowly growing back! A lot of it is
sticking strait up. Deb Holder

I also lost losts of hair, my doctor said to take zinc sulphate 220 mg. I
started taking it and within 2 weeks the hair loss stopped. Hope this
helps. Good Luck
