Question:
Has anyone selfpaid in KY/IN area?
If so how much, who with and did you have to pay all up front. — Bethany M. (posted on February 18, 2002)

I don't know about self pay, but I read your profile and it looks to me
like you need to find a more WLS-friendly PCP...this guy you went to sounds
like a real *******, poking your boob and all. I am a light weight too,
(100 lbs. overweight at 245) but I had no problem getting a referral, etc.
Don't let this ins. co (doctor) disrespect you or disuade you from looking
into WLS if that's what you want - get a new PCP ASAP!

Just read your profile again, it looks like you may be on your 2nd or 3rd
PCP...get a new ins co. asap, or go out of network...it's worth it for a
few bucks...BTW...with most co's a BMI of 40 or 100lbs. overweight is all
you really need to qualify for WLS...

Hey everyone, i am the one who posted this question. I recently turned 21
and i no longer have insurance (it was under my dads plan). I am having
trouble finding a job with benefits, so i am going to try self pay. thanks
