I would start with taking smaller bites. I would also consider softer foods
such as scrambled eggs, cottage cheese with a little fruit in it, apple
sauce, and anything in these lines. I think a few more weeks and you will
see a big change. Hang in there and you will be fine. Good luck.

What do you mean you have a terrible time swallowing? Does your throat
hurt when you swallow? Does your pouch hurt? Does it feel like you get
stuck?

call your Doctor
your Stoma( spell ck)..the opening from into your stomach could
have a narrowing and need stretching...
if you are chewing to a liquid form and it is still hardly going donw
then call...it also could be swollen..
how does warm broth or tea go down
call and talk with the Doc's office

I'm 3 months+ post op and still have a hard time swallowing certain foods.
It's all trial and error. I remember at three weeks I ate a scrambled egg
(few bites) and it felt like gravel going down. I think TIME is our only
friend here. For instance, I just popped a Lean Cuisine turkey dinner in
the microwave and STILL I cannot tolerate the meat. I'm still on soft
foods generally speaking. I will ask my surgeon when I see him in early
March. But I'd say it's way too soon for you to tolerate a lot of foods in
your stage of your journey. Just my thought on it.
