Question:
I hear there is a shot that you can get to help disolve the gas in your body?

I have heard that there is a shot that you can get that helps to get rid of the gas thats trapped in your body from the surgery, have any of you had this shot and if so what is the medication called?    — mastrnservnt (posted on December 8, 2001)

Never heard of that, but I had NO gas pains at all with my LAP surgery. I will see my surgeon tomorrow since it jens day for surgery. I will try to remember to ask this question for you.

I had no gas problems while in the hospital after surgery. I am 11 mos. post op and ever since the surgery I have enough gas to float a boat and ppeeewwuuuu!
