Question:
I am also 2 months post op and tolerating very little more than soup also.
I had the Fobi Pouch 9/27. I was found to have a stricture at the opening to my pouch 11/2 and had it dialated twice under floroscopy. Now I have really bad reflux. I did not have reflux prior to my wls. I stay nauseated from the acid all the time, and nothing solid feels good in the pouch. Does any one have any suggestions? I also find that I have a great deal of anxiety when it comes to eating. Is this normal?? 11/28/01 — katherine H. (posted on November 28, 2001)

I too found myself having alot of anxiety, I also started taking liquid
Mylanta before, after eating or when I felt the acid building, I only took
this for the first few weeks, at two months I thought I should be able to
eat, but everytime I ate I felt awful, I hated to read here that it takes
awhile, but now I am 11 mos out and can eat almost anything. Hang in there
it will get better(I hate that saying still) Soup is still my best friend.

I highly reccomend that you get your body back in to see your doctor..
Feeling that way can be indicative of marginal ulcer.. these are easily
treated with the proper diagnosis and correct medications.. however, if not
treated or diagnosed early, they can perforate and this gets to be a really
bad scene.. I have experienced marginal ulcers that perforated.. and
believe me.. you dont want to go through this painful experience..
Best of luck to you
