Question:
My surgery date is in 2 weeks, but I have been sick with a bad cold for over a week

I also came down with a cold 10 days before my surgery. I slept as much as I could, took an anti-biotic and 2 grams of vitamin C a day. The surgeon told me he would have to postpone surgery if I still had the cold but thank God it was gone by then.

I have had a cold for about 2 weeks now, and my surgery date is the 24th. I went in to the doctor and she said it's a sinus infection and put me on antibiotics. So I should be fine by my surgery date. But my surgeon told me if I was still sick we would have to postpone. But if it's a cold you should be over it in the 10 days. Like they said, get plenty of rest, garlic oil pearls seem to get my family over colds faster, along w/ vitamin c.
