Question:
Am I eating or drinking to fast or to much?

After I eat or drink I keep burping for at least an hour. I have no pain but I can't stop belching. Is this normal & when does it stop? I had an open rny 3/19/01 & down 42#    — socco58 (posted on May 12, 2001)

sounds normal to me. I had the same thing . Even now I still (at one yr post op) I get that air lock feeling.even if I wait a half hr or more to drink after I eat. and then I have to burp . I swear sometimes I'm just like a baby!

Hi Susan, The belching does ease up as time goes on. Maybe u can try gas x, cherry creme flavor, u might belch alittle more as it gets the gas out of your stomach and intestines. Good luck. Sena
