Question:
Do any Charlotte surgeons accept medicaid???

Does anyone know any physicians in the Charlotte Metro or surrounding areas that still accept medicaid for gastric bypass surgery???? I'm having a real hard time locating anyone. Thanks in advance/    — angelarikard (posted on June 1, 2004)

I went to support group with someone who had Medicaid and their surgeon was Dr. Alex Espinal of Borhanian and Espinal in Rock Hill. I had Dr. Borhanian for my surgery and they are both excellent.

Perhaps you could try a University Hospital? I know that here, the University of Virginia accepts Medicaid, and that the GBP surgeons also accpet medicaid. Or you could call a not for profit hospital to see if they have a list of surgeon's that they could recommend for you. Good Luck*~*
