117 pounds in 6 months is a BIG change. Your body needs time to adjust.
Keep following the rules, maybe shake things up a little by changing your
routine, change your exercise or eat a little more or a different kind of
food and try to be patient. I'm seven months out and I didn't lose
anything from 03/25/04 to 04/24/04 then lost 3 1/2 pounds overnight. It
seems lots of people hit a plateau between month six and month seven.

You've lost a tremendous amount of weight in a very short time. Your on a
plateau and your body will catch up. The longest plateau I was on where I
didn't lose a pound was for 6 weeks. But you've got to keep watching your
food intake and exercise and the weight loss will start again.

You've made a tremendous change to your bosy in a very short time! Now,
your body is trying to catch uo. Relax, it's normal. What I would
recommend is changing ONE major thing that you are doing. Here are some
thoughts (PICK only ONE, or thing of one of your own) Double your H2O
intake, add 200 to 300 calories (protein) extra to your diet, double your
exercise for a week or two, remove all carbs from your diet for a week or
two, not eatin carbs? add a few in. Get the picture? Do something totally
different to 'surprise'your body and the routine it's gotten into. You'll
get moving again, soon!
