Question:
Has anyone gotten pregnant since surgery? If yes, how soon?

I haven't had surgery yet, nor am I pregnant. But one of my friends that I work with was about 7 months out after Lap RNY when she found out she was pregnant. Our surgeon recommends that you are at least 12 months post op prior to getting pregnant. He would like his patients to wait longer if possible. My friend is doing fine. She has not had any problems. I've heard about a lot of people becoming "fertal myrtles" after surgery. Hope this helps! Good luck!

2 years, (1 waiting to lose the weight, then had GB removed and we waited through that, and then it was just a matter of nature)... please do a search on pregnancy in the database- there is much more information there. Also - visit Yahoo! Groups OSSG Pregnant.
