I had surgery 10/31/02, about 5 1/2 months out. Last time I checked (two
weeks ago)...down 88 lbs. Thrilled about my choice to have revision.
Absolutely thrilled that I endured! :)

I had what my surgeon calls a "re-do, re-do. I had takedown of old
intestional bypass in Feb. last year. Plumbing hooked up to original
state. In feb this year, I had r n y. I have only lost 30 poinds.
beginning weight was 228. I was told by my doc that I would lose slow and
may not get to the goal weight. he didn't want me to have any surprises.
Well, if I had known it would be this slow, I would never have had it.

My father's revision allowed him the opportunity to lose over 250 pounds.
He is now 225 lb. Good Luck.

VBG in 1995, revised to RNY July 02,2002. Started at 250, now I'm at 174.
76 pounds in nine months, 24 pounds to goal.
Started slow, but picked up speed, now it's tapering off again. Totally
happy I had it done.
