Oh my gosh! YES!!! Things that I could not stand before my surgery (just
over a year) I love now! And things that I didn't think I could live with
out are well, yucky now. It is really funny how our bodies have changed, as
well as our taste buds!

I am 11 months post-op and food has a different taste to me as well. Things
I used to crave, like ice cream, fried chicken and Pepsi, don't seem to
appeal to me anymore. Things that I used to not like, are more tastey to
me. I like things with flaver, onions, garlic etc. I guess part of the
reason is that now I only take small bites and eat just a little bit, I
want to enjoy every little taste.

I have noticed that this happens whenever you change your diet for an
extended period of time, especially when you cut down on sugar and salt.
The natural flavor of things start becoming more pronounced and sugary and
salty things seems waaaay to sweet and salty. It's a good thing :)
