What does your surgeon say about it? I had a TT on 8/14/01 and was
completely healed in 2 months. My tummy is completely flat with no bulges.
Talk to your surgeon and your primary care doctor

It is possible for the swelling to last for up to a year. I retain fluids
terribly in the abdominal area (had 2 c sections and a tt and all 3 took
forever to get the fluids moving) I still have some swelling and had
my tt in July. the PS said there was fluid along the incision line
and I hope it subsides soon. I can feel some pain along the incision
line when there is a lot of fluid. It has been liveable so I have not
needed any aspiration. If yours gets too uncomfortable, you may need
to go to the PS and get aspirated. (2 weeks after surgery I had
170ccs of fluid removed from that area, it really was painful but have
not needed the aspiration since)
