Question:
We have submitted my appeal to aetna ppo this past thursday..Can

anyone tell me what my chances are that the denial will be overturned? Also anyone else with aetnna ppo have their denial overturned..after appealing..I was denied due to not having enough medically supervised diet..we found some more records and resubmitted along with a letter from me and the surgeon..    — tylerswife (posted on October 28, 2001)

I have Aetna PPO and my procdure was approved after the first letter. I did not get a copy of the letter that my surgeon sent, but I gather that it must have been very good and detailed. Mu surgeon specializes in this surgery as do the other 4 drs. in his office so they are very adept at writing letters of this nature I suppose. I am sure this info has not helped you at all. I am sorry! I hope your denial is overturned!
