Help I am freaking out I was told today that the employer switched our insurance

I had AETNA PPO at the time of my surgery in 1999 and they covered the procedure 100%. I've never heard of AETNA EPO (typo perhaps?). Before I even had my first consultation with my surgeon, I called AETNA and asked what were their requirements to pay for the surgery. I didn't want to go to the doctor and then find out later that the insurance wouldn't cover it. Didn't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed. My advice is to call them and ask what it would take to have the surgery. Good luck to you!
