Question:
Has anyone had to have a Hysterectomy because they can't asborb iron?

Yes I had a Hysterectomy, because I has 9.o HB and my menstrual periods were very heavy. I had alittle tumor that was causing the excesive bleedin. I had 5 unit of blood during surgery last March and till know I am doing great. I have to admit that I am not very good in taking my iron, so far HB is normal.
