Question:
I am looking for a surgeon in the OH/KY/IN area who performs the laparascopic RNY.

I had my surgery a month ago with Dr. Fred Brody at the Cleveland Clinic. Try looking up hospitals at www.hospitalsoup.com then do a search on gastric bypass or minimally invasive surgery. Good luck!

HI I LIVE IN LOUISVILLE, KY. AND I DROVE TO MIDDLETOWN OHIO TO HAVE MY RNY ON APRIL 10, 01 BY DR FALLANG. HE IS FABULOUS. HE HAS HIS OWN WEB SITE WWW.SURGICALWEIGHTLOSS.NET I SAW 4 DOCTORS IN MY LOCAL AREA AND AM VERY GLADE THAT I PICKED HIM. HE IS CARING, UNDERSTANDING, COMPASIONATE, AND VERY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES. THERE IS PROBABLE 4-6 PEOPLE THAT WORKS FOR HIM THAT HAS ALSO HAD THE SURGERY SO IF YOU EVER HAVE A QUESTION YOU CAN ASK ANY OF THEM AND THEY KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKIN ABOUT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR FALLANG AND I WOULD DO THIS AGAIN IN A MIN. I TRAVEL 2 1/2 HOURS TO SEE HIM FOR MY FOLLOW UP APPT. CHECK OUT HIS WEB SITE. HE CARES ABOUT THE PERSON. Dr Randall Bolar in Georgetown KY performs Lap RNY IF you are a good candidate for that proceedure. It depends on your current weight and BMI. Dr Bolar is one of the few that is board certified to do the surgery Lap.

Dr. Blaine Nease is in Portsmouth Ohio. 740-354-4491 Dr. Nease does the Lap RNY or the open if needed, at Southern Ohio Medical Center and he is great. Dr. Nease also has a very informative seminar 2 or 3 times a month at the Life Center in Portsmouth. He is looking at the Chillicothe area for future seminars. Had my Lap RNY on March 20, 2002 and I feel like a new person.
