Question:
Is there anyone who takes Flintstones Sugarfree Complete vitamins?
Hello everyone. I need help. I have one week left to wait for surgery. So today I went shopping for my vitamins. I was told that I need to take Flintstones (Sugarfree) Complete vitamins. However, I cannot find them anywhere. Also, I was told to take tums for the first 6 weeks (sugarfree), but I can't find those either. Is there anyone out there taking these sugarfree products? Thanks!!! — ellton (posted on May 28, 2001)

I take Flintstone chewables...I also could not find
"sugarfree"..but I spoke with the nutritionist and she said I had
the right ones...the on sugar ingredient is aspartame....so they work
ok...good luck

I am also taking the Sugar-Free Bugs Bunny vitamins. Look at a Super
Wal-Mart pharmacy. Also, regarding the Tums. My Nutritionist told our
nutrition classes to stay away from the tums. The calcium in them is
calcium carbonate not citrate and is not absorbed as well, therefore later
on (10 yrs. later) can lead to osteoporosis. Hoped this was helpful.

I am 1 week post op..tried the flinstones..not too crazy about them.
My Dr. has some called sprinkles, you just sprinkle them on
the food and eat. Think I'll give them a try

I went to Wal-Mart and looked over all the chewables they
had. I settled on the Spring Vally Children's Chewables
complete with Beta Carotene & essential Minerals.
I wanted something with minerals as I'm sure I was'nt getting
enough BEFORE surgery! ;)
They seem to work just fine. I don't know about sugar, but
I can't tollerate sugar to well and I have no problems with
these. The kid in me likes the taste too. <blushing>. I also
have a pill the doctor prescribed that has a iron/B12 combo.
