Question:
I have a leak in my new stomach I want to talk withsomeone else who has also had one

I had surgery 1/25/01 and was diagnosised with a leak 2/2/01 I am looking for anyone who has any information on how to deal with this because my surgeon says it could be 3 weeks it could be three months before I can take anything by mouth and the thought of not being able to eat until May is upsetting.Any help would be appreciated. I haven't had a leak, but I just want to say my heart goes out to you. I thought being on liquids for 4 weeks was going to make me crazy, but your situation is something else. I hope you hear from someone soon who can ease your mind.

I am constantly reading the peer websites and just last night I read about a woman who had mini gastric bypass and developed a leak that cured itself. And for the record, thanks to all you great people who have a WLS website. I have just about read each one of them. I print them out and read at night in bed. I have learned so much from them. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with everyone else.
