Hi Angela,
I went to Dr. Rohrer in Great Falls Montana. I flew there from Alaska as
the cost was the best I could find and I couldn't find anything inferior
reported about him or the hospital. I paid the hospital $15k and Rohrer
$3k (my insurance didn't pay so I had to give them cash up front). Hope
this helps, my best~

Hi! I'm waiting for approval from my insurance company, but according to
my surgeon's insurance coodinator, the cost for those paying themselves is
approximately $20,000. Of course, this will vary from surgeon to surgeon.
Just thought I'd give you another figure to put in the mix.

The all-inclusive cost (surgeon, assistant, anesthesia, and hospital -
irrespective of complications or length of stay) for my lap RNY was
$18,500.

about $30,000. Gee's by some of the other post your state's sound alot
cheaper then Missouri.

I live in VA. My hospital bill was $20,899, plus $4000 for the surgeon's
fee, plus $2500 for the anesthesiologist plus $992 for pre-op testing.
Cigna picked up all of it except my co-pays.
