Question:
how many calories are absorbed through the mouth
This is kinda a strange question. Occasionally I will eat something sweet and instead of swallowing I will chew and spit it out just to get the taste. Does anyone know how many calories are absorbed just through the mouth? (I know this is a bad and discusting habit but it works to make the craving go away!) Thanks, jenae — jenae C. I don't think the question is disgusting, because I find myself almost
doing the same thing. What I do is I don't eat anything sweet but if I try
to eat a hamburger the bread will swell up in my mouth so I have to spit
the whole piece out and then I finish. I don't think you get too many
calories if any at all if you don't swallow (no pun intended)(prez &
