I live in Balto., Md and would like to kmow if BC/BS will cover TT after WLS?

Check on line or call your insurance company and get the guidelines. From what I understand, most inurances willl not cover a "tummy tuck," which involves cutting and tightening the muscle, but many cover a pannectomy, which is just removal of loose skin, if you can prove it is medically necessary (back pain, skin fold infections) and not just cosmetic. Check, though, because some BC/BS insurance padkages do cover a lot.

It has to do with how effectively you and your PS can collect documentation on medical necessity. They will consider the arms and legs as "covered" if you have documented medical problems in these areas.
