Do not go there, a lot of people are dying from those stupid pills. Cut
back on your Carbs & exercise, exercise,
exercise. It is the only thing that got the scale to move
after months of styaing put. I am 15 months out & am fighting the last
50 lbs. I no what you are saying, but, please stay away from those diet
pills. The best thing to do is up your ptotien intake with shakes
(Champion Whey) is the best out there & cut back or out completely the
carbs for awhile & see what happens. Good luck!

Yes, I tried them. I tried phentermine-(Ionamin)at 2 years post op. I did
lose about 10 lbs within the 1st couple of weeks. But I could never get
the full effect of the pills. They are suppose to suppress appettite over
a long period of time and no matter when I took the pill the effect just
wasn't there for me. If I took the pill too late in the day it kept me up
at night. I guess it is just like extended release meds, after WLS you
just cant take them.
