Hey you might talk to your surgeon. Let him know you would be happy to run
it. Maybe he can talk to the local hospital and get you a conference room
for free. Our Sr. requires one support group meeting before he does the
surgery. We have a meeting twice a month at our local hospital. A town next
to us has one at a local church. Good luck.

Do you live near the hospital where you had surgery?
If so, they should have support groups. If not, all you need to do is tell
a few people that you want to meet. We started meeting at the mall and then
we moved to a restaurant. We convinced the restaurant to come up with a
menu for us "small portions, high protein." They did - we have
about 30-40 people a month attend our meetings. Where do you live?
Hope this helps - Michelle
