Does Fed BC/BS pay for a tummy tuck?

They will cover it if you fight with them. You are welcome to read my profile to see the living hell I went thru to get the coverage. They will not pre-approve the surgery. Basically, you have to have the surgery and then see if they will cover it. You may have to pay the surgeon up front and hope BCBS pays and then you will get a refund from the surgeon. I appealed all the way up to Washington, OPM and won. Currently waiting on my refund from my surgeon so I can pay my home equity loan off that I had to get to pay for the surgery. Good luck...
