Question:
Starkist Tuna Creations in the Pouch!

These are wonderful! It's lightly marinated tuna, in the flavor pouch. I just tried the Herb & Garlic and it's delicious - straight out the pouch! Low fat and packed with protein. Also available in Lemon Pepper, Hickory Smoked and Sweet & Spicy (haven't tried those, so don't hold me accountable - ha!). Just wanted to share...........    — ScottieB86 (posted on June 2, 2004)

I have tried several of the prepared single serving tuna items without too much luck. They always seem to settle poorly in my pouch. I seem to need the mayo, light of course!!!!

I love the Hickory Smoked Tuna, it has about 80 calories in a serving. I put it in a salad with fat free Zesty Italian dressing and some tomatoes and it is GREAT!

Sounds delicious! How much do they cost and how many ounces in each? Thanks.

I love the spicy one! I eat it right out of the pouch!! Eat it slowly!!!!Tuna can reform in your pouch...so try it at home first. Careful with the spicy one...you might want to take some gas-x first, but oh it is so yummy!! Also these don't have a fishy taste or smell...for those of you who have fish smell issues. I am taking a 3 day ferry ride (we are moving from one city to another in Alaska) and the food that the ferry serves is expensive, so guess what I am bringing???? These work great in combo with string cheese. You get some calcium in that way and it makes an almost perfect lunch. I always add a small apple slice with this (I have 2 small kids so the rest of the apple goes to them) and I have a well rounded meal. Oh...Tupperwear makes a great little storage container for that half an apple that you can't eat. They are so useful and affordable. I'm rambling..good luck.
