That's a tall order. I suggest plugging some of your favorite foods ...
and then, some that are just okay foods ... into fitday.com to get
nutritional information on them. That can be a real eye-opener, and it'll
help you start repeating foods that are better for you and minimize or
eliminate those that aren't. Then, there's reading the label at the store
(I'm a big label reader now).<P>One thing, though -- if you've had
the RNY, low-fat isn't as much of a concern as you might think, because we
malabsorb fat. I'm not saying, "eat high-fat foods," or
"ignore fat," but if I come across a product with a good protein
count and some fat in it -- like cheese -- I'll eat it and not worry about
the fat, so long as the fat "price" was worth the protein
content. Carbs, and especially sugars, are the things you really want to
keep on a short leash. Good luck!

I'm not worried about low fat or fat free. I like string cheese, natural
peanut butter, deli meats, wendy's chili, boiled eggs, chicken salad,
canned soups with beans or peas,
shrimp and crab, tuna fish.
hope this helps
