Question:
Try Gorton's Classic Grilled Salmon instead of Steak!
If you're jonesing for steak, try Gorton's Classic Grilled Salmon (near the fishsticks section). It has a smokey outdoor grilled flavor and resembles the taste and texture of a rare-ish steak! DEE-LICIOUS! Also low in fat and has about 17 grams of protein in 3 oz ! — ScottieB86 (posted on January 11, 2004)

Oh my goozeness thanks so much for the info. I have been dreaming of a
rare steak but know I could not eat it (probably can't afford it either)
but I do love salmon - I'm on my way to the 24-hour market so I can have
this for lunch - Thanks a bunch!

All of the Gorton's products are great, and every once in awhile I'll even
go for the fried fish as a treat and haven't had a problem yet. They are so
high in protein, low in fat AND so easy to make (not to mention they are
about the size of what our meals should be), it's the perfect lunch or
dinner!

I will have to try another flavor I guess, I bought one that was
(blackened???) or something and I thought it tasted terrible...I guess that
was the wrong kind huh? LOL

This is just me but I didnt like the taste and it was too dry. Sat there
like a brick. I threw 2 boxs of the stuff out. Every one is different, I
know I eat stuff that most people dont like. ~Sidney~ Open RNY 10-23-02
