pcos is polycystic ovarian syndrome. it is a metabolic disorder which is
also part of metabolic syndrome x. you have insulin resistance,
infertility, hirsutism, obesity and several other symptoms. a lot of people
have this and i think it is the biggest reason why it is so hard to keep
weight off. there are many factors contributing to this but the biggest is
the insulin resistance. your pancreas produces too much insulin which your
body resists and it leads to pcos. that is a simple answer.
