Has anyone been approved having Medicaid?

Hi I have title 19 which is the same as mediciad. I was approved in only less than 3 days. I am in Iowa not sure which state you are from , but it was really easy for me to get them to give a approval.

Hi Sonia I have medicaid actually it is husky Healthnet but it all comes from the state I was approved in 2 days no problems at all whatsoever. I am in CT

As long as you meet the criteria...over 100 lbs overweight, 2+ co-morbids, and psych eval...medicaid should pay for your surgery. Just be prepared to accept RNY as the only option at this point unless you can really find a doc/surgeon who will fight to help you get the DS if that is what you want.

Hi and thanks everyone! I live in Maryland. I am 5'3 and around 300 pds. I am waiting on approval to see if I can get Medicaid. Thanks so much for your help!
