can you have the gastric bypass done twice?

Hi. My patient advocate went through the same thing you are going through.
She had her first lap rny four years ago and after two years of weight
loss, then a year of stabalized weight, she had it done again and has
dropped down to goal since the second one. She lost over 400 lbs between
the two surgeries. So, yes, you can have it done again.

Yes, you can have it done again if you have mechanical failure (I had
staple line disruption) OR if you didn't lose enough wt OR have regained.
