Question:
It appears that Dr. Sanderfer in Corona Calif and Dr. Chin of Lite Dimensions in the
LA area both participate with Blue Cross PPO. I am wondering if anyone has a recomendation or opinion about either. — sissie S. (posted on May 1, 2003)

If you go to Find a Doc (at the top of this page) and then choose
California, you'll get a list of all the California docs that have been
listed by someone else on the site. Click on 'view' (I think that's it)
and it will bring up a page with their patient's comments.

Don't know about the insurance side of it but Dr.Sanderfer is a very good
doctor. Know a lot of patients that have had him and all I have heard from
have really liked him. If you get a chance before you have to decide come
to one of his meetings. Last Tues. of the month in Riverside at the
Riverside hospital at 7:00 or at Parkview Hospital also in Riverside the
First Tues. of the month at 7:00. Call office for directions or even the
hospital they will tell you too. Hope you Good Luck.

Dr. Sanderfer (in the Inland Empire) is my doctor and I have Blue Cross
PPO. IHe is a very gentle man and up front and honest. His PA, Frank gets
right to the point. The doctor also requires at least a year post op check
ups. I am 5 months post and down 73 pounds (I was somewhat of a
light-weight to begin with) and I am now in a size 12-14 from a size 24. I
am very pleased with the care I receive from the doc and his entire staff.
Insurance was a breeze with Blue Cross PPO.

I didn't have Dr. Chin with Lite Dimensions but my surgery was performed by
one of his associates in the same office. All of the surgeons in the
office are excellent and so is the rest of the office staff. They use two
hospitals in Fountain Valley that are very used to caring for the bypass
patients and you will have your own room as well. I would definitely
recommend this program.
