Question:
Any Virginia residents have Healthkeepers and get approved?

My insurance is Anthem Healthkeepers in Virginia and they have an exclusion that reads "Care of obesity or services related to weight loss or dietary control. This includes weight reduction therapies/activities, even if there is a related medical problem." No mention of morbid obesity or medically necessary. Any information would be a gift. Virginia has a law requiring insurance companies to pay for gastric bypass surgery. I don't think they can enforce this exclusion legally.
