Question:
How will treatment affect someone post op for breast cancer

I am 14 months post op and I have been diagnoised with breast cancer. After having a lumpectomy and a node biopsy, I have been told I need to have chemotherapy. My question is "will the treatment be different for a person that had WLS different than other people". I am proud to say I have lost 110 pounds and I have never been healthier, but now I get this. I also fear that the treatment causes weight gain. Is there anyone who has gone through this. I really need some advise.    — Rochelle W. (posted on February 26, 2003)
