Support group topic

hiya. i facilitate a wls support group and most of the handouts that we've used as discussion topics are on file on my website: www.geocities.com/katebme2002 what i usually do is search "gastric bypass" on yahoo and get information off different websites -- kind of pick and choose from different doctors/bariatric centers (make sure you put on your handouts who wrote the articles/url's of website etc). i also find articles on nutrition and exercise. you can check my files on my website for some ideas. good luck! kate

The importancet of protein, vitimins, water, Medical alert bracelets and excerise are great subjects to cover. Also allow time for question and answers...I find that in my support group, people just want to talk about what is going on with them to see if others are going thru the same thing.
