Yes I have it, and I hate it! The more water you drink the lighter it
should get. :o)

That is a sign of dehydration! You are not getting in enough fluids.
Dehydration can be very serious for post ops. Call your doctor he can do a
simple test to see how bad it is.

hi there :) i very new post op had that. it went away as soon as i was able
to get in more water. i agree with the previos poster that it very well
could be dehydration. get it checked by doc but in the mean time while your
waitng for the appointment, pinch the skin inside your wrist and if your
skin stays pinched and doesnt bounce back right away, most likely your
dehydrated. best of luck to you. :)

I agree. Dehydration. Be sure to drink the fluid amount/types recommended
by your surgeon.

The darker the urine, the more of an indication that you are not getting in
enough water. To stay properly hydrated, the urine should be very pale
yellow to almost clear with no odor. Remember , fat leaves your body thru
the urine, so drink up!

Aside from the water, are you taking an extra B-complex, in addition to
your 2 multis? Or a Hair, Skin, Nail vitamin? Sometimes the B-vites can
make for that yellow & vitaminy smell. BUT if you're getting the water
and not a lot of B-vites (this does not include B12, which is a different
animal altogether), then of course, your finger is already on the dial to
call the doc. Right?

also, not drinking enough to the extent your urine is dark is putting ou at
risk for a kidney stone, the truely most painful experience in the world.
