Lean mass stimulators are a combination of several nutrients, amino acids,
and peptides that help to prevent the sagging look after massive weight
loss. When you eat so little your body goes into a starvation mode where
it eats the fat (which we like) but it also begins to eat away at all of
your muscles underneath. Lean muscle stimulators prevent this from
happening so that after you lose the weight you have a nice toned healthy
look without the sagging. This combination of the stimulators along with
the whey protein also ensures 100% absorbtion. Unlike products like
pre-digested protein which is actually a collegen protein which is usually
made out of animal waste products like cow lips and fish scales. A gastic
bypass patient should always look for a prtoein supplement that contains
not only the protein, but also the stimulators, peptides, amino acids and
large amounts of the other vitamins we become deficient in. Remember you
need more than the RDA amounts that are recommended for a normal person,
because you are not absobing all of the protein and vitamins from the food
that you eat.

Oops, I forgot to add that is why I am so big on Real Meals it has the lean
mass stimulators along with everything else. Go to
www.protein-solution.com You can also email the company that makes it
through the website and they can answer more detailed questions. After I
found Real Meals on one of my co-workers desk when I was a couple of weeks
post op. I called the manufacturer to check out how it would help post
ops. He has since then done a great deal of research on Gastric Bypass
patients and our nutritional needs after surgery. He now has this website
just for post ops and gives us a discount.
