Question:
Does anyone know of a surgeon who will perform a revision in No. California?

I'm in need of a revision. Beginning weight was 280, and I had a RNY (prox.) in June, 2001. Eventually lost about 89 pounds. I am now 220 with a BMI of 36.8. I have been excersing and eating all the right foods. So, I have an appointment with the original surgeon. However, I am concerend that he's going to be defensive and unsupportive. I had an UGI and it showed that my pouch was still fairly small. I don't know why the surgery was not sucessful the first time around; but I do know that something must be repaired. I just don't know what that something is. I'll be so disappointed if he doesn't support the revision. Any suggestions or info. of Bay Area surgeons?    — ellton (posted on October 6, 2002)
